Max
Let’s go
deeper with the champion of “formula1” 2023 and
Answer
these questions:
Who is
Max Verstappen?
Who are
his strongest comptitors?
What did push
him to win?
Who is
Max Verstappen?
Max
Emilian Verstappen, the 2021 and 2022 Formula One World Champions, is a racing
driver who is Dutch and Belgian[3]. He was born on September 30, 1997. He races
in Formula One for Red Bull Racing while flying the Dutch flag.
Verstappen
is the son of Formula One competitor Jos Verstappen and Sophie Kumpen, a racing
driver.
He
entered Formula One as the youngest driver ever when he was 17 years, 166 days
old.
Jos
Verstappen and Sophie Kumpen welcomed Max Emilian Verstappen into the world on
September 30, 1997 in Hasselt, Belgium. Victoria is his younger sister. When
Verstappen's parents divorced when he was a small child, his sister Victoria
moved in with their mother while he continued to live with his
father.Verstappen has three younger half-siblings from his father: Mila Faye
and Jason Jaxx, from his most recent marriage; Blue Jaye, from his second
marriage; and Blue Jaye, from his first marriage.
Who are
his strongest comptitors?
Fernando Alonso
As
Zandvoort faced every challenge from the Dutch weather, Fernando Alonso was in
customary feisty form. The two-time world champion battled through it all to
place Aston Martin back on the podium for the first time since Canada in June
and finish just 3.7 seconds behind race winner Max Verstappen. In addition, he
completed the lap the fastest. Here is how the vote went.
Lewis Hamilton
The words
"Still I Rise" are inscribed on the back of Lewis Hamilton's helmet
and tattooed across his shoulders. Ever since shattering expectations with one
of the greatest rookie performances in Formula One history in 2007, he has done
nothing but rise: surpassed his idol Ayrton Senna for the most pole positions,
surpassed Michael Schumacher for the most victories, and then tied the
legendary Gerhard Berger for most wins.
Is he the
best? Few people would contest his presence in the discourse, and he's doing it
in his own unique manner by combining his unrelenting speed with a reluctance
to adhere to preconceived notions about what a racing driver should think, look
like, or act like.
In
Formula One, respect must be earned, but Hamilton—now known as Sir Lewis
Hamilton—has it from every one of his competitors. Why? They know that when his
visor drops and the lights go out, it's Hammertime regardless of the track, the
weather, or the circumstance.
Leclerc
entered
Formula One riding a tsunami of enthusiasm. He was born in the Mediterranean
paradise of Monaco.
On his
path to winning the GP3 and Formula 2 championships, this virtually unrivaled
driver displayed a dizzying assortment of abilities, including blazing pole
positions, dominant victories—even when his car caught fire twice at
Silverstone—and the ability to force his way through the field. Leclerc learned
how to handle pressure from his back-to-back championship victories, which is
another skill that will come in handy in Formula 1 competition.
Leclerc,
who made the jump to Formula One in 2018, displayed bursts of lightning-quick
speed on Saturdays and racing brilliance on Sundays, pushing his Sauber past
its breaking point and earning himself a seat in Ferrari's 2019 race lineup
that money can't buy. He will replace Kimi Raikkonen, the Scuderia's most
recent world champion.
There, he
immediately made a name for himself by competing head-to-head with Sebastian
Vettel, the current leader, without fear. A week after a debut F1 victory at
Spa, another occurred on Ferrari's revered home field of Monza. The tifosi had
discovered yet another new hero, who went on to become the first driver to
outperform Vettel in a whole season with the Scuderia, a feat he ruthlessly
replicated the following season.
Ferrari
struggled in the 2020 and '21 seasons, but Leclerc remained determined to
become a legitimate title challenger in 2022. He was the only driver who was
able to consistently compete with champion Max Verstappen, earning three
victories, 11 podiums, and nine pole positions.
Leclerc
is modest and thoughtful as he steps out of the automobile, but he is also on a
very personal quest. This promising young driver is competing in memory of his
late father Herve and his friend and mentor, the late F1 driver Jules Bianchi.
He is
making them both proud, based on the evidence so far.
reasons
pushed him to win:
As
Formula One enters its summer vacation, there will be sighs of relief from many
inside the paddock. A break from a season that has quickly turned into a complete
disaster for Max Verstappen.
The world
champion now looks to be nearly amusing himself by almost not even thinking
about the competition after his victory here.
From grid
position six, the Dutchman took the victory. By lap 17 of 44, he had overtaken
Red Bull teammate Sergio Pérez and was unstoppable from that point on.
Given
that Pérez is driving the same car, his victory margin of 22.3 seconds was an
amazing advantage. Verstappen is just simply in a league of his own in this Red
Bull, in this season.
In the
last third, he showed just how easily he was in charge of the race and, by
extension, the season, as he now had a huge 125-point advantage over Pérez.
He was
one of the world's most difficult racing circuits, but he was so careless as he
blasted around it that he felt at ease enough to engage in some light joking
with the team.
